As an NYS-certified adult home, Chenango Valley Home and Apartments in Norwich, NY, offers compassionate services designed to enhance residents’ independence and personal choice. Our personal care aides ensure residents in our home receive individualized support and added assistance if required for showering, toileting, etc.
We begin with a detailed assessment of your needs, goals, and interests to create a customized package of services. Along with personal care services, we also offer daily enrichment activities, three delicious meals per day, and provide all maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
While providing basic supervision, our aim is to empower residents to maintain as much independence as possible, fostering a comfortable and fulfilling retirement home experience at Chenango Valley Home and Apartments.

We offer one bedroom private rooms and two-room suites with different floor plans to choose from. Each room features a comfortable bedroom, closet space, windows to let in natural light, and a bathroom. The suites have an additional sitting room. Each room is equipped with safety features to keep you secure in your home, and our 24-hour staff are just a call away.

Admission
The Chenango Valley Home and Apartments is a great value to seniors as we work hard managing our funds to keep our room and board rates lower than other facilities. Our community provides maintenance-free living, personal assistance to be as independent as possible, and the free time to live life to the fullest. Including the home’s features, amenities, and the rich social and recreational programs we provide, our seniors find their lifestyle is well worth the cost. Our rates are all-inclusive except for telephone service and parking.
Individuals wishing to live at Chenango Valley Home and Apartments must be evaluated by their primary medical provider before they may be accepted for admission. Individuals must be able to direct their care and meet the retention standard according to the NYS Department of Health Adult Home Regulation. When a prospective resident and their family visit Chenango Valley Home and Apartments, any individual circumstances will be discussed.
Cost of Living at Chenango Valley Home
We require an initial entrance fee that is an initial investment in our home. The fee is used within our operations. If the resident leaves the home within the first year, the entrance fee is returned on a prorated basis. There is a monthly fee based on room size, and there is a monthly fee if they have a vehicle. Telephone charges are the resident’s responsibility. Special activities and outings may have a cost associated with them. All other amenities are included.
